Jason is the co-Managing Partner of Kagan Shastri DeMelo Winer Park LLP. Jason assists property owners, developers and municipalities on official plan, zoning, subdivision, severance, variance and site plan matters throughout Ontario including acting for some of the largest and most prominent developers in Ontario. He has attended at the Ontario Land Tribunal on numerous occasions regarding a variety of Planning Act appeals and has extensive experience negotiating and drafting a variety of development related agreements such as Section 37 and Site Plan Agreements.

Jason has previous experience working in the City of Toronto’s Legal Services Division. He is Past Chair of the Ontario Bar Association’s Municipal Law Section Executive and is the Chair of the Board of Directors for HF Connecting Health Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic. Jason is also on the Executive for Lambda Alpha International – Simcoe Chapter, which is an international land economics organization, and the Steering Committee for the Cambridge Forum on Land Use Planning. He has also been for the past several years a co-chair of the Law Society of Upper Canada’s Six Minute Municipal Lawyer Program.
